Requirements

  • Able to lope under control is highly recommended, however a lot will be done at the walk & trot so please come anyhow
  • Sound horse
  • Western gear
  • Dress code is regular tshirt (no spaghetti straps), jeans, and cowboy boots
  • Signed Waiver & Sign Up Sheet
  • $30 with paperwork

What to expect

Drill can be complex and, if not done correctly, it can be quite dangerous. Each season we start off very systematically to keep safety in mind. During Try Drill Out you will get to experience the system that we use in developing, learning, and creating our patterns and routines to be both beautiful and exciting. 

Day 1 - We will begin with teaching spacing & tracking.
Day 2 - We will add in alignment & timing.
​Day 3 - We will begin on foot walking a basic routine, then getting on to ride it with the elements learned on days 1 and 2.
