The San Juan Sparkles & Spurs will be looking to add to their team from October through the end of December. We want this to be as fun as possible, but challenging enough that we each grow individually in our riding skills. Check out below how to become a member and what we require from each rider.
2026 Membership
We will begin looking to add to our JV and Performance team starting in October of 2025. Tryouts are still open until December 15th.

What are the Performance Team membership commitments?
Financial
Annual Membership Fee - $150

- October - April practices are Sundays 2-5pm
- May - September practices are Tuesdays 6-8pm
- Must attend the 2 practices prior to a performance
- Business Meetings in Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Nov
- Set required parade/performance dates (will be listed in contract)
- 3 Hours volunteer time

Riders must be able to carry a flag at a lope comfortably
